A Simple Plan for Your Dreams

Welcome back to the current issue of the Law of Attraction Key Newsletter!

WOW! I’ve been getting such great feedback about our past issues and I want to take a second to say thank you…so “THANK YOU!”

I love helping you along your journey and so many of you are stepping into your magnificence, and I am so excited for you.  Part of the life mastery journey involves taking your dreams and making them your reality. There are so many ingredients to doing that successfully – ingredients like:

  • Clarity
  • Belief
  • Inspired Action
  • Persistance

And so on…

This week, I have asked Marcia Wieder to share her thoughts on how you can take all of that and create an actual plan for your dreams. Take a few minutes to read what she has to say, but more importantly, take a few minutes to actually follow through on the steps she gives you – when you do, you will be on your way to manifesting your dreams – and THAT is exciting!

To make sure this newsletter serves YOU; your comments and feedback are critical, so let me know what you think and leave me a comment! You’ll find a link at the bottom of each issue that leads you to our site to leave your feedback.

Ok, let’s get started – I hope you enjoy this issue!

A Simple Plan for Your Dreams

by Marcia Wieder – CEO & Founder, Dream University®

In our very full lives we spend so much time doing what we have to do, that rarely is there time “left over” for our dreams. If you want to end this year right, begin to plan for next year.

I’m not encouraging you to map out your days and hours or obsess about strategy. But I am suggesting that you carve out one hour of DreamTime for yourself. If you like this process, you can then do another round with your spouse and family. But let’s begin with you. After all, once you connect with your passion — what you love — you’ll have more energy (and perhaps even time) for the people you love.

Making time for your dreams is not selfish. Since people with passion and dreams actually live longer healthier lives, it’s actually an act of generosity to make time for dreams that make you happy.

For most of us, the critical first step is to quit something. Do a quick survey of your life and dump at least one activity, group or bad habit that drains you. If you don’t have to do it and don’t want to do it, perhaps it’s time to say bye-bye. If you can’t make that leap yet, you can still move ahead. Perhaps going through this simple process will fuel your desire to make time for your new or important dreams.

In the comfort of your own space, and at your own pace, answer the following questions. Do it on paper or with a good listener. They key is to get it out of your head. As you are writing or speaking, allow more and more detail to come. This stream of consciousness may open you to new ideas and insights. Here are the simple, but important questions for you to answer.

  1. What do you love or what matters to you?
  2. What do you want/desire?
  3. What do you believe?
  4. What are you willing to do about this?

After you answer these questions, create at least one simple, yet essential, action step to set yourself up for success. What is the single most important thing for you to do this week, or even better, today?

If your dream is to write a book, join a writers group, clear a physical space where you can write and be creative, draft your table of contents or hire a coach.

Demonstrate that you’re more committed to your dream than to any fear, doubt or limiting beliefs that might get in your way. Take the essential first step so you know and can declare that you are in action on your dream.
