Do you really “believe” that it’s possible to have anything you want?

Welcome back to the current issue of the Law of Attraction Key Newsletter!

2011 is coming to an end and amidst all the holiday hustle and bustle, I know many of you are thinking about all the possibilities of what 2012 can hold for you.

This is a time of year when people starting thinking about what they desire and everything that they want their life to be. And, because there is a whole NEW year in front of them, there is that feeling that maybe, just maybe, it is all possible.

Well, you know me well enough to know that I absolutely believe that EVERYTHING is possible when you BELIEVE that it is possible.  And that is where most people hit a bump in the road – just because you want something doesn’t mean you believe you can have it.

The key is taking your current belief sets and growing them – 1 step at a time.  There is a bravery in being willing to take the small steps in order to grow your belief sets – and I promise you, that bravery will be rewarded with unstoppable momentum.

I’ve brought in my good friend and colleague Richard Luck to help you grow your belief sets – he shows you how through an amazing and simple story – when you finish reading what he has to say, you will be able to immediately put into place what he suggests – it’s that powerful!

I so appreciate all of the comments you leave! You are helping me make sure this newsletter serves YOU and you are helping everyone else who may share in what you are currently experiencing on your journey! You’ll find a link at the bottom of each issue that leads you to our site to leave your comments and feedback – I encourage you to do so and share your voice!

Ok, let’s get started – I hope you enjoy this issue!

Life Mastery Is Yours!

We all have our own life to pursue, our own kind of dream to be weaving. And we all have some power to make wishes come true, as long as we keep believing.

Do you really “believe” that it’s possible to have anything you want?

by Richard A. Luck

Hmm, big question, isn’t it? But, whichever way you answered, I believe this short story is about to help you on that journey…

In the Australian winter of 2011, I took 4 of my friends skiing.

They were great skiers, but they had hit one of those invisible “barriers” that prevented them from taking their skiing to the next level.

The thing is, they knew that I had already pushed through the same “barrier” that they were struggling with, and they wanted me to help them do the same.

I already knew that it wasn’t their actual skill or ability holding them back, it was their beliefs about their ability that was getting in their way.

You see, when you’re standing at the top of a “double black” run that has a sign saying “A fall in this area may result in your death”, it’s your belief in your ability that will allow you to ski that run, no matter how skilled a skier you are. Without that belief, you just won’t ski that run..

Now, I’m not saying that “skill” isn’t very important, but what I am saying is, training your self belief is even more important.

It’s like there’s a sliding scale of “self belief” that determines the results you achieve.  The better you want to be, the more important it becomes for you to believe you can be exceptional.

And this applies to all areas of your life.

For instance, if you wanted to create abundant wealth for yourself, then “holding the belief” that you can achieve abundant wealth is even more important than having the actual skill to do it.

And again, just for clarity, that doesn’t mean you don’t need any skill, because the skill is still extremely important, but what it does mean is, your belief in your ability is even more important than the skill.

Skill can always be learned. And when you have the right belief in yourself, you will attract the right people to teach you the skills that you need. Just like my skiing buddies had attracted the lesson they needed into their life!

But training your belief is something that’s often overlooked by many people.  They will train their skills and pay little (or no) attention to training their beliefs about their ability to implement those skills.

Take a look at the latest technology to accelerate training your beliefs about your abilities.
It’s easier than you think!

Olympic athletes not only have coaches to train their skills, but they also have coaches to train their mindset. That’s how important they believe it is.

It’s just like when I was helping my friends push through their barrier.  I knew beyond any doubt each of them had the skill that they needed to ski one of the toughest runs in Australia that day.

But I also knew that if I took them to the top of the toughest run, none of them would ski down it, because they didn’t believe that they could.

So, an obvious question is, “How do you train yourself to believe that you can do anything you put your mind to?”

Well, here’s what I taught my skiing friends that day, and it’s a simple technique that worked very well for them, and it will work very well for you as well (and not just in skiing, but in every area of your life).

Each run we skied during the day was marginally harder than the previous. So I slowly pushed them through many smaller barriers, rather than attempting the one big one. By the end of the day, they all believed they could ski the double black, and they did ski it with me!

You see, by taking many small steps, you’re pushing yourself just outside your comfort zone a little bit at a time. And with each step, comes a new improved confidence and self belief that allows you to take the next step, and as you move forward you gain momentum, which builds to “unstoppableness” 🙂

On the other hand, if you sit and contemplate the enormity of the total task, it’s more likely that you’ll never ski that run or take any steps towards it.

When faced with what feels like a huge challenge, for instance like becoming abundantly wealthy, its better to take slow small steps towards the goal, than none at all.

I hope that’s given you some food for thought, and, I’d love to hear your story about any huge challenges you’ve overcome in your life, and how you did it.

Quick Tip Look Who’s Talking…
One of the best ways to grow our belief sets is by moving the target closer.  Let’s say you have a big target (like an archery target) and this target encompasses the great, ultimate vision you have for your life. That’s great – but chances are good that the target is so far off in the distance and feels so foreign to you that you can’t even see it clearly. So what do you do?MOVE THE TARGET CLOSER! Ask yourself this – “What is the next level from where I am right now – that would make me know I am moving toward my target but that I KNOW I can achieve?” Whatever your answer is – ask yourself these questions:

“Do I REALLY believe I can achieve this level?”
“When I achieve this level will I KNOW I am closer to my target?”
“Will achieving this level push my comfort zone but not break it?”

Once you have found a next level that you truly believe you can achieve – then you have successfully moved the target closer – keep repeating this process and your momentum will be incredible – and you will achieve that great, ultimate target sooner than you ever believed possible!

“I would like to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt and grateful thanks for all the inspirational emails that regularly hit my screen and also the amazing you links that you share. You have been an amazing inspiration for me.

In my spiritual development I get a lot of gurus hit my screen, I can’t
possibly study them all and I whittled it all down to the most inspirational
and caring, you have become a trusted and loyal friend who sends me just the right message always at the right time. The universe truly does work in mysterious ways always giving us just what we need.

So a very big thank you too Kristen and may your day be filled with joy.

Blessings and love,

In April, 2007, my partner and I closed escrow on a beautiful new office building, in which we planned to offer executive suites. Unfortunately, I was alone in the building, there was constant pressure to cover the operating costs that eventually drained all our savings, and the Bank that gave us the loan kept threatening us with foreclosure, even though we were making the payments. Slowly, painstakingly, my belief in the building and our services has panned out, and as of two days ago, we are 100% full. Belief is so important. Never stop believing!

I have tried to get in touch with you concerning the online course about the Law of Attraction Report, 5 Steps. Well I am having problems trying to visualise what I want because I am comparing it with what my situation is right now and I feel the visualisation is a fake. It doesn’t seem to be a true image of myself right now. So I have trouble visualising a movie of myself doing the things I want to do because I feel that it is a big lie and that is my biggest block to what I want.

      Hi John!

I so appreciate the honesty of your question and challenge. I suggest that you think back to a time when you were attracting some of the things you desire — think about yourself, notice how you acted and thought and handled things. You are STILL that person and when you visualize what you desire now, when you fill the visualization with who you have proof you already are (even if you have forgotten that you are that person) it will feel more real because it is based in your history.

A little story of determination, hope and the power of the mind….Several years ago I was hit with a virus that paralyzed my whole body from head to toe. The pain was excruciating…pain killers did not work…medication and treatment to remove the virus from my blood was not working. I spent several weeks in intensive care not knowing if I was going to live or die. (But I knew I was not going to die…I was only 58 years old!!) I told the doctors I would walk out of the hospital, they smiled a nice smile but knew I would never walk again. After 3 months of grueling and painful therapy I walked out of the hospital. After another 6 months of therapy I was fully recovered and back to normal. I was not ready to spend the rest of my life in a wheelchair, I had too much living to do….I told everyone I would walk, I was not ready to die and I made sure I acheived my goal to walk and live. I am a firm believer that anything can be accomplished with the power of the mind.

Thank you som much for the article, so true…”If you think you can, You WILL and if you think you cannot, just turn around and walk away”. Its as simple as that. Going back to Linda’s story, any good doctor will tel you if a patient wants to live and is motivated…the sky is the limit but on the other hand if they have decided its time to go NOT even the best Physician will be able to do anything.
I read an interesting article sometime ago where some doctors decided that good motivation,
happiness, laughter was in many cases BETTER than the medicines…don’t ask where because
I do not remember. Here in South Africa in the Childrens Hospital in Cape Town they have clowns and funny movies of cause with lots of positive motivation for the children and have found it to made a remarkable difference.
    Absolutely remarkable.
    Thanks again much Blessings.

I really thank you for sharing with us.

On the 31st December last year, my full time job ended mainly because it made me too stressed and I was no longer enjoying what I was doing .

Not having a job to start the year was a bit of a challenge as I am a single mother of 2, with a lot of debts, a mortgage and bills to pay.

Somehow, on the 1st of January this year, I made a resolution of not working for anyone else but to follow my passion of developing my business up so that I would be able to combine looking after my children and work.

I was focussed and determined to be a success and I used some of your techniques of Believing I could, Visualising what I wanted to happen and take little steps to make things happen. At the most I have enjoyed the process, though at times things have been a challenge for my children and I. Their have been times when I felt like giving up and as someone mentioned I thought I was living a “fake” as the things that I was visualising were not happening in the “real” world.

I am still working on developing m business and my faith and belief that things are working is now very strong, and everyday, I wake up now looking forward to the exciting world of limitless possibilities.

Thanks again for your articles and I look forward to continue to learn and develop.
