How do I let go?

Here’s the question I get over and over and over again…

“How do I let go?”

I’m not gonna lie…

That’s the hardest part about the Law of Attraction.

I mean c’mon, I have you jumping through hoops deciding what you really want, visualizing it in GREAT detail, using all of your senses…

By the time you are done with the exercises I put you through you are probably so excited about the life you have decided to create that you can almost taste it…

And then I tell you to ‘Let go’!

What am I crazy?

I know it seems almost impossible…

BUT I need you to do it…

  • When I say ‘Let go’ I don’t mean for you to let go of the vision (In fact I want you revisiting that daily for a few minutes)…
  • When I say ‘Let go’ I don’t mean for you to let go of the passion and excitement…
  • When I say ‘Let go’ I mean ‘Let go of HOW it is going to come to you!’

STOP trying to figure it out (seems nearly impossible doesn’t it?)

So let me be more specific…

Let go of the How!

Focus on the ultimate vision every day…

Use all your senses…

Get excited…

and then LET GO of HOW it’s going to happen!

Yes it’s hard…

BUT I guarantee you that YOU will only LIMIT yourself if you impose what you think can happen and bring you what you want.

Get out of the way…

Decide that what you desire or even something better is on it’s way (actually it’s already here, but that’s for another time) and then let it go…

Stop thinking about it…

Once you do your daily focus…STOP THINKING ABOUT IT!

How many times have you wanted something…

  • Money
  • Relationship
  • Job
  • ANYTHING

And you’ve obsessed on it…wondered how you were going to do it and then finally gave up…

And then almost immediately after that it shows up? And in a way you never expected?

Leave me a comment and tell me when this has happened to you…even if it was small, I guarantee it has happened!

Go Big!

Kristen

I was negotiating the price I intended on paying for the new-second hand car I was interested in at the car sales. I could not get the price down the extra $1000, so left it, got home and there was a cheque in the mail for $1000. Unexpected and perfect timing. I purchased the car and was very grateful.

    dear KRIS.
thanks for keeping intouch, am still on the process of focusing my VISION to be passionate daily in my thought. But thanks a lot. I realign my scattered dreams and focus in one specific GOAL.

    Hi Kristen,

I agree that letting go is so hard. I found that I as focus, I would do something to make that vision come true. I am much better now trusting in the Universe and the power that dwells within me.

you are exactly correct i kept expecting from a certain angle its letting go of the how already imagined

I hate to be a wet blanket, but focusing on what I want and letting go is really hard when the bills are due NOW. Shifting my focus to what I am doing right now is about the best I can do. As it is, we are filming a virtual tour of a beautiful house I have listed.

      Hi Rosemary!

Focusing on what you are doing right in the moment is PERFECT especially when you are feeling overwhelmed and like you are struggling to survive…

If you can focus in the NOW (which is sounds like you are doing) that’s great!

When I say focus on what you do want instead of what you don’t want — I mean in the NOW not in the future (yes, I want you to take a few minutes each day to focus on your ultimate vision, but then let it go and focus on the now).

You’re doing great even if it doesn’t feel like it all the time…

      Go Big!
      Kristen

I am finding it difficult to focus on now but am managing to do it. I do not know how my husband will come back to me as he has left me for another woman but I have decided to let the ‘how’go. He is happy hovever to see me every Wednesday for lunch so that is a good sign at least!

    Hi Kristen
About three weeks ago my daughter and i put up pictures on what we call our vision board , somethings we know will take a while but today I went shopping and never thought about simple things on our board like new towels , but when I got home I found that we had bought the exact colour of towels on our vision board. So let go and let GOD, if it’s meant to be think about it and it will materialise. I know that next year I am going to take my entire family on a vacation to THAILAND. It’s already making it’s way to me.

I have always been on to try to figure out the how and the when of everything. I have spent days just stuck on the how and the when the thing I want will show up. As I reflect back, I do see that once I let things go they have showed up almost instantly. So thank you for helping remember what I have forgotten.

You are very right. Years ago, I had read a couple of mystery-comedies by an author (I couldn’t remember her name or the title of the books). I was using the LOA to find them, BUT I keep getting in the way of my own self. Finally, I woke up one morning and told to myself I was just gonna forget about it and let it go. Within the hour, I was on the internet and it popped into my head to search “mystery-comedies” — it had NEVER dawned on me to do that before. Not only did I find the author and titles I had been wanting, but I’d found some others of hers I HADN”T even heard of!

Not only that but I also found a slew of other writers within the same genre too try. I was so happy and grateful.

I am still learning how to let go but I have to say that it DOES work!

it is really hard to do it b/c for an hour i can let go but after one hour it will come back to me!
what can i do any tips?

What if it wasn’t hard? What if every time you felt your mind wander to negative self-talk you gently corrected it and what if you got better and better at this the more you did it?

Try these what if questions 🙂
