Abundance starts with ABUNDANT THINKING! It doesn’t start with anything you do. It doesn’t start with an opportunity. And it has little to do with money.
Let me say it again – Abundance starts with Abundant Thinking. I don’t mean trying to convince yourself that you have abundant thoughts, I mean REALLY having them. I mean really FEELING and THINKING abundantly – regardless of what is happening in your outside world.
Once you shift to true abundant thinking (and feeling), a massive shift occurs within you that opens the floodgates to abundance showing up in your life externally as well.
I know that you might be really open to this concept, but still struggling with how to integrate it in your life, and that’s why I brought Noah St. John in to help you. You probably remember my interviews with Noah in my Manifest Everything Now Series. He is the world’s most quoted expert on clearing your head trash, so he is just the guy to help you get into Abundance Thinking. 5 Simple Steps to Abundant Thinking

The economy, the mortgage crisis, the sky is falling. Sound familiar?
Even during The Great Depression, some people got rich. Because some people know how to have an abundance mentality. When everyone else panics, abundant people don’t.
Here are five steps to have an abundance mentality:
1. Focus on people, not things.
You have systems in your life that must operate optimally in order for you to live prosperously. The first and most important is your People System. Why? Because people have all the money!
Ironically, when you put people first, the money comes as a natural result… provided, of course, you follow the other steps.
2. Let go of your high – and low – expectations.
You can see abundance even in the face of not-enoughness. The difference lies in your expectations.
Stop expecting people and things to change. False expectations kill relationships, as well as your chances for abundance. When you change your perspective of something, the thing you’re looking at changes.
3. Use AFFORMATIONS®.
No, that’s not a misprint. Afformations are empowering questions that change your subconscious thought patterns from negative to positive.
For example, you’ve probably used affirmations like, “I am rich.” And your brain responds, “Yeah, right!”
Instead of a statement you don’t believe, asking empowering questions causes your mind to search for why you are, in fact, rich. That’s why changing the question will change your life.
4. Focus on what you HAVE, not on what you lack.
Many people are suffering from the disease of “not-enoughness”. This comes from focusing on what you lack, which produces…more feelings of lack!
Every morning, write 5 things you’re grateful for. Focusing on what you have will build feelings of confidence and self-worth.
5. Find Your ‘Because’.
Most people don’t know why they’re here on Earth. This leads to feelings of frustration, stress, anger and despair.
Focusing on what’s wrong is just a bad habit you don’t need any more. When you Find Your Because, you’ll realize that not having “everything you want” pales in comparison to knowing you are being the best person you can be.

|Quick Tip||Look Who’s Talking…|
|If you are struggling to find something to be grateful for, that is just the resistance in your mind misguidely guarding you and trying to protect you. Instead of trying to force yourself, use this question to cue the resistant part of your brain to relax. Here’s the question…
“I know you can’t think of anything to be grateful for right now, but if you could, what would it be?”
Let me explain why this works – first, you agree instead of push against when you say “I know you can’t think of anything to be grateful for right now.
”With that small agreement, the resistance starts to let go of its grasp. THEN you bring in imagination and make it safe when you say “But if you could, what would it be?”
I use this all the time – on myself, on others, on any kind of resistance. Let me give you a great example…
I was Christmas shopping about 5 years ago, and I was looking for a very specific digital camera. When I got to the store, there was only 1 on the shelf, and the box was really damaged. So I approached the young sales clerk and asked him if they had more in the back. Without even thinking about it, he replied, “nope, sorry.”
Now, here’s the cool part. In the past I would have pushed against his resistance. But instead, I said this, “I know you don’t have any more in the back, but if you did, where would they be?”
He looked at me and said, “They’d be with all the other cameras, hold on, let me go check.”
5 minutes later, he returned – celebrating the fact that he found the last one in the back and it was in perfect condition.
Try it, you’ll be amazed!
