THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME TOO MANY TIMES TO NAIL
IT DOWN TO ONE FALL. I DID EVALUATE WHERE AND WHAT IT DID WRONG. I SOME TIMES WANTED TO TRULY ABONDON THE RIDE AGAIN BUT NOW I LOOK FOR THE LESSON VS THE WHO’S FAULT IT WAS.

This is actually a response to the above comment’s by Roy.Your story really resonated with me.The seemingly never ending cycle of frustration you are encountering must indeed seem like it will never get better.I sympathize with you…I too have my difficulties financially,and work daily at bettering my situation,finding more work in my line of work,but at the moment it does in fact feel as though the market is dead at present.
I don’t prescribe to having the solutions but I admire your will and fortitude and truly wish your situation does turn around and that your faith will be rewarded…”this too shall pass”

Oh boy!… this article came to at just such time, … feeling quite bruised, more from ‘beating myself up’ than from the fall …. Yes, I’m feeling fear about getting back on and riding forth, yet this is the step to take … Thank you Kristen !

There are many areas in life where we may “fall off”. I have fallen off, dumped my motorcycle, What did I do? Learned from what happened and got back on the bike as soon as it was possible.
I have been through relationships that have failed. What did I learn? To be more aware of myself and what is happening. To love and accept myself completely before offering love to another. To keep trying and keep Learning.

What will I do now? Learn, Laugh, Let it go, and keeping trying with more fervor. Each day is a blessing.

Sometimes I get right back on the horse, other times I lay in the grassy meadow watching the clouds swirl about. The fall is a chance to decide -”Do I really need to ride right now?”

I have been falling off of my ‘financial’ and ‘relationship’ horse for years. I recently managed to save $500 a major goal for me. Went out and blew it over the weekend. You’d think that after living from paycheck to paycheck for years this would be easy. But for me money goes through my fingers like water – so I’ll start over next payday and keep on -keeping on.

You are absolutely right. What a waist of time to feel guilty about falling. But I´ve experienced this feelings whenever anything went wrong. I will be more aware now, and get on the horse right away (if my subconsious programming allows me to, at least I laugh at it now).

First time I rode I fell off too, and got dragged about 500 yards over walls as my foot was stuck in stirrup. Not nice. However, when horsey did stop and I was able to ‘get back on’ I did. I had to or else a fear of horses would have grown.

There is another, perhaps humourous, way to look at this.

If at first you don’t succeed, remove any evidence you tried.

At least then everyone knows that you never failed at anything because you never tried anything. Good for you. Stay on the treadmill.

Just remember that the guy who invented the lightbulb didn’t do it in the first go, in fact Thomas Edison had about 5000 tries, before he got it right.

We evaluate results, adjust, try again. Keep the cycle, it works eventually.
