Hi Kristen. This is my first time writing to you. I am so busy but I love what you are sending out. I hope you come back and read this. I have no problem with Friday 13th either. I’ve been made redundant from one of my teaching jobs and I went out with my colleagues for a meal on Friday 13th. It was lovely. They bought me dinner and gave me a wonderful gift. Now I have the opportunity to start to earn money in the right way for me at this time. It may be winning the lottery, practising Reiki, being a diet coach, teaching beginner’s Tai Chi, painting, writing. Hi Kristin,
Only just got to read your e-mail on Friday 13th.
Well Friday did turn out lucky for me.
On Saturday 14th. I had to give a lecture to the
Thoesothical Society. I had nearly 7 months to
prepare for it, but didn’t really do anything
until Friday after work. Even though I was up late
preparing my lecture, I just knew it would be
O.K.
Well Saturday afternoon and time for the lecture.
After my presentation I recieved a standing
ovation, it was that good. I didn’t expect that.

Hi, Had a really challenging Fri 13 due to a negative visitor that was staying with me for a few days. OMG–as someone who is trying to change thought processes toward what is good and positive—it was VERY difficult for me to keep veering into what is good and more positive. He kept saying that to think positive is to live in the dark and bury your head in the sand. While he watched fox news and carried on about terrorism, and global warming, and the end of our water supply and on and on — doom and gloom.
I did not rise to this challenge very well. I eventually just shut up, kept quiet and felt alot of anxiety in my body.
So when I look back on Fri 13, I will choose to look at the good in that day, instead of the negativity that was saturating my world. But I would like to know how people deal with the doom and gloom / negative people in their lives without going crazy.

I\\\’m surprised I\\\’m the first to comment on this, but here goes. I didn\\\’t see this until now, and it\\\’s 7:35 the evening of Friday the 13th. I never thought much of Friday the 13th as having good or bad luck. In fact, some years ago, I managed a two building office complex wherein both of them had a 13th floor. If I could have put the management office in there, I would have, but it was fun to watch some people get discombobulated at the thought.

On Tuesday, the Dancing with the Stars Results show featured Susan Boyle, singing \\"I Dreamed a Dream,\\" danced by two of the pros so beautifully, that I have gone back twice to the website to watch it. That, in and of itself, has inspired me to feel happy throughout this week. That is what life is all about for me. This is now, and I\\\’m enjoying it to the hilt.

Like you Kristen, I like the oppersite to what is the expectation, when negative thought patterns are the focus. I have gone for two opportunities I’d love to eventuate. Nothing lost, alot too be gained. My fingers are crossed, and I will be proof that 13 is a great number. Regards Linda
