THANK YOU EVERYONE for your amazing emails and posts!

The outpouring of love and care that has come to me over the past few days since my accident is absolutely amazing…

Some might even call it unbelievable…

Now, you know me…there’s a message or lesson in everything…

So what is it this time?

Here you go…

There are so many people out there talking about the horrible state of the world and the people in it.  Complaining about the lack of connection and care that exists between people these days…

This way of thinking just causes us to disconnect further…

And I have to say, “I get it.”

There are so many distractions now, so many ways for us to all stay in our own bubbles of space and time…

So many examples of inconsiderate behavior and people running over others to make sure they get what they want first…

and this is a BIG one…

Over the last few days I have discovered that isn’t the truth at all…

Sure, there are distractions and we can ALL (me, you and everyone else) get too self absorbed sometimes…

But when it really comes down to it…

We are all connected…and when something happens that hits us at our core we feel that connection and are surrounded by it.

You are never alone…

THAT is what I discovered from all the reaching out…

Even when you feel alone you aren’t…

And when you accept that you are connected and supported and loved EVEN WHEN you don’t feel that way or see where that connection and support and love exists for you…

It will start to show up…

In the most unexpected ways and sometimes from the most unexpected people and sources…

But you have to open yourself up to it...

Which means you have to be willing to connect and be available and not decide where it should come from but just let it come…

And then…

Accept it! Don’t say yeah that was great but so and so didn’t show me love…

Don’t look for ways to dismiss the beauty of the love and connection and support that surrounds you every minute of every day…

Instead look for more ways to see it and value it and share it yourself.

Leave me a comment and let me know how you can be a source of unexpected connection or love or support to people you know and love or even to strangers.  Let me know how you are going to consciously CONNECT from now on!

I thank you all for your energy…it is overwhelmingly beautiful and I am better for it!

Go Big!

When Jim died, I used to feel so alone. Then I would take a walk with my dogs and make sure that I made eye contact and said hello to 10 people on the street. By the end of the walk, I was back in the world. CONNECTION is what matters. You mean so much to me. If you ever needed anything, you can always call me. And I feel the same from you. But you know what? Even strangers can give you that feeling. People are so willing to give of themselves. Everyone wants to feel like they make a difference. Sometimes WE are what’s stopping them. Do THEY not want to give or do WE not want to receive. Both sides have to be open. Thanks, K. It is unfortunate that it takes accidents to make us aware of the love that we have in our lives, but hey…if that’s what it takes, then (to me) that explains why bad things happen to good people. Much love.

You get what you give! Thank you!!!

  5. Kristen,
I am actually surprised by your post. You said:Over the last few days I have discovered that isn’t the truth at all…
In spite of current economic conditions, the consciousness of man has never been at a higher vibrational level and many of us believe that we are on the verge of a radical evolution in consciousness-a change so profound that it may be the realization of enlightenment like that of the Buddha.

Thank you Kristen for causing me to reflect back on the amazing day I just had, and to the loving people and experiences I encountered this day, and realizing how we are indeed all connected.
This morning I asked The One to help me — to please just HELP ME.
Tonight, after the experiences and people that were drawn to me this day, I remember to trust in the process of life as it unfolds to me with divine order and divine timing. My life is mirroring my quest to know myself better. Each experience (good and bad) is an opportunity to learn more.
And thanks to u I spend 10-15 minutes quieting my mind daily. And my phone alarm 3x/day reminds me to stay positive and appreciate the present.
Am grateful for your emails that cause me to reflect and think differently about things that occur.

We thank you for your daily input into our lives – uplifting, caring and many more words to describe what you do. I can be a source of unexpected connection by smiling and/or speaking to everyone I meet – this will acknowledge that I see them & care that they exist.

  8. Mel says:

Hiya Kristen is it awesome the deal is you trust in the Universe and you are and were taken care of. Yay! Thank you from my heart for your caring emails. We are all connected through the great Universal creative process.
My heart sings with each email I receive from you!

    Thank You!

  9. opps… push the button too soon 🙂

Allowing ourselves to feel the connection is definitely the trickiest part for me… there is a uncomfortable level of vulnerability at first, but once you can get past that hurdle

as you say… wonderfully awesome connects just start appearing every where!

I’m new to the whole LOA thing and I’ve got to tell you, without experience and practice (encouragement and support help too), believing without seeing is more difficult than anything else in the program. Without results (manifestation?) it can easily wear you out. I mean physical exhaustion! What I’m trying to say is, I don’t know what this “horrible state of the world” is that you’re talking about. I just don’t see it. Wars, famine, indifference? World has been full of all of these for as long as I can remember (I’m more than half a century old). The difference that I see is not that there are more of these things, but more people being aware of their impact on the world. Not just their immediate surroundings, but the ecosystem, nature in general, the local community, the political atmosphere. People are starting to realize that they do have influence in these areas and they are starting to use it. Horrible state of the world? Maybe. But it’s getting better!

I read a Afrikaans book last week which pointed the following out: The same way we display jewellery against the dark blue velvet material, we show up God\’s goodness when we stay calm and understanding and compassionate when we are being verbally abused. Instead of retaliating. I tried it the last two days, leaving the other party standig with a open mouth. He did not know what hit him. And turned around and walked away. God is good. All the time.

  15. Mary says:

Sending love and appreciation for your beautiful energy and your total recovery.

Funny, i just saw yesterday the Celestine Prophecy and now your talking about willing to be open to connecting, is this sinchronicity or are you a mindreader(witch) LOL. Or did you watch the movie yesterday also???This movie is what you are writing about. Thank you and God Bless you

  17. Leila says:

    Yes Kristen,

I am noticing that I am each day more open to connecting and sharing love. Today I could have offered help to someone if I had been just a bit more open to it.

  18. Rosa Muziotti says:

How can we be a source of support, love and connection to people around us?. Be polite, say \\"good morning(evening), give thanks, show appreciation for little things, send birthday cards, ask how are you today?, ask may I help you?, be on time, tell people their good qualities (for instance, your are a good mother/father, you are smart)Tell yourself this cake/ice cream is delicious! and stop criticizing yourself or others.

  19. Ryan says:

I’m happy that you’re up and about Kristen.

Your ordeal makes me think of the saying “I’m so happy, it’s not logic.” Logic does not have a say in miracles.

As for your idea, we can be a source of love by treating everyone how you want to be treated. Repeat the Golden Rule to yourself all day long. Then the next day. And the day after.

The Rule is thrown around casually. Put it into action Dwell on its meaning. Live it!
