I’m happy that you’re up and about Kristen.

Your ordeal makes me think of the saying “I’m so happy, it’s not logic.” Logic does not have a say in miracles.

As for your idea, we can be a source of love by treating everyone how you want to be treated. Repeat the Golden Rule to yourself all day long. Then the next day. And the day after.

The Rule is thrown around casually. Put it into action Dwell on its meaning. Live it!

How can we be a source of support, love and connection to people around us?. Be polite, say \\"good morning(evening), give thanks, show appreciation for little things, send birthday cards,ask how are you today?, ask may I help you?, be on time, tell people their good qualities (for instance, your are a good mother/father, you are smart)Tell yourself this cake/ice cream is delicious! and stop criticizing yourself or others.

I read a Afrikaans book last week which pointed the following out: The same way we display jewellery against the dark blue velvet material, we show up God\’s goodness when we stay calm and understanding and compassionate when we are being verbally abused. Instead of retaliating. I tried it the last two days, leaving the other party standig with a open mouth. He did not know what hit him. And turned around and walked away. God is good. All the time.

I’m new to the whole LOA thing and I’ve got to tell you, without experience and practice (encouragement and support help too), believing without seeing is more difficult than anything else in the program. Without results (manifestation?) it can easily wear you out. I mean physical exhaustion! What I’m trying to say is, I don’t know what this “horrible state of the world” is that you’re talking about. I just don’t see it. Wars, famine, indifference? World has been full of all of these for as long as I can remember (I’m more than half a century old). The difference that I see is not that there are more of these things, but more people being aware of their impact on the world. Not just their immediate surroundings, but the ecosystem, nature in general, the local community, the political atmosphere. People are starting to realize that they do have influence in these areas and they are starting to use it. Horrible state of the world? Maybe. But it’s getting better!
