Now what? How to find your purpose – The Key to a fulfilling life – The Next Step

Did you answer the questions I gave you on how to find your purpose and the key to a fulfilling life, yesterday?

If you didn’t, GO DO IT NOW!

I am excited to work with you on how to find your purpose which is the key to a fulfilling life, but for me to help you, you have to DO MORE THAN READ THIS, and you must take INSPIRED ACTION!

Let’s jump in…

Yesterday you answered a bunch of questions I gave you and from that you should have come up with a few answers that seemed to keep showing up.

Those are the key you are looking for!

Grab your pen and paper again and write those elements down, we’ll call this your ‘Purpose List’…

If you are like most people you probably have 1-5 things written down…

I want you to rate those from most exciting to least exciting…

Let’s look at the woman I told you about yesterday who went through my ‘Find Your Purpose’ coaching…

When she answered all the questions I gave her, she discovered 3 things that kept reoccurring as times when she felt her best and in the zone. The 3 things were:

1. Animals

2. Being Outside

3. People

I had her to rate them from most exciting, (meaning when she felt most fulfilled) to least exciting.

The list then looked like this:

  1. Animals
  2. People
  3. Being Outside

Okay, go rate your purpose list now…

Did you do it?

Now, quickly write down the times in your current life when you are participating or experiencing any of the items on your purpose list.

On a scale of 1-10 (10 being most or all of your time) how much of your time is spent on your purpose list?

Chances are good you answered between 1-5, right?

That’s what we need to focus on now…

In order to find your purpose and live a fulfilling life, you must be spending the majority of your time on the things that bring you the most fulfillment! That’s the key to a fulfilling life, that’s living your purpose!

‘But how do I do it Kristen? Are you saying I should quit my job and move?’

It is too soon to make any rash decisions, let me show you how to find your purpose while you are living your current life…

Let me help you step into your purpose and fulfilling life one step at a time, one day at a time…sound fair?

Here’s the question for today that will help you take steps toward finding and living your purpose…

Ready for it?

Here you go…

Ask yourself this question every single day…

“What 1 thing can I do today so that I spend at least 10 minutes on one of the things on my purpose list?”

I promise you, once you start taking steps to spend more time doing the things that bring you joy EVEN without changing anything else in your life, you will start to align with your purpose and the law of attraction will start to draw more opportunities that align with your purpose to you.

I’m here to help you take this from this first step ALL THE WAY THROUGH to completely finding your purpose and living a fulfilling life…we’ll get there but you have to take the first step! Take it now!

Tell me what you plan on doing by leaving it here in a comment, accountability is huge and if you write it here you are 90% more likely to do it!

Go Big!

    Hi Kristen
I am going to read positive messages everyday and visualise my dreams for just 5min a day. I know you said 10 min , but I still feel guilty about my time. Will work on that soon.

I actually spend more than ten minutes a day striving to start my businesses, talking to people and being outside. I know in my heart of hearts that what I am trying to accomplish is the right thing to do, but getting there has been such a struggle. I keep moving forward knowing there is a light at the end of the tunnel. It has been extremely scary at times, but with faith and belief that you can do it I know it will work it\’s way out and I will become a better person for it.
    You are the best.

I’ve been working on thinking positive every day, speaking with a motivational person once a week (just started) A couple of months ago I did a gratitude journal for 30 days, now I’m reminding myself of everything I still have & everything I wrote. I just lost my job so I’m focusing more on staying positive & being grateful for the little things. For 2 months I’ve been working on things I love to do: art & photography -just created 3 websites to share it. I do little things that make me feel good every day.

Thank you Kirsten. I am going to take inspired action right now. I have always shied away from entertaining as a feel my cooking is not good enough. I am going to phone four friends to come over for a lunch and it will be good!

Hi Kristen, I am finding it very difficult to find my purpose as I only had two things on my list, shopping and being at home I have no money to shop and what do I do at home????? I am really stuck

  10. Jim says:

I think part of my problem is being too demanding on myself; if I don’t spend 20 mintues or more everyday on my purpose, I get down on myself. Ten minutes is a lot more manageable to start; so, I will be working on one of my illustration projects or items related to being a freelance illustrator at least 10 minutes every day!

Hi Kristen. I find that I spend a little bit of time on at least one thing on my list most days, but often feel guilty “indulging” in these activities which I absolutely love! I would so love to make a living from fantasy games and artwork or from meditation! I even recently made a schedule to include daily time for painting! But often feel like I should be doing something “more real” to produce real income.

    Hi, Kristin,
I can listen music at my mp3 player while I’m travelling or doing anything else. I really need to listen music what I like. Music is the medication for my soul, keeping me positive.
