Mushy Brain, Mushy Life – Brain Training

By Stephanie Mulac

Our brain is magnificent and very powerful. However, in order to keep your brain functioning at optimal levels, you have to continuously exercise it. For this reason your brain can be compared to the muscles you have throughout your body. If you neglect your muscles and do not exercise on a regular basis, you will surely lose your muscle tone. The same goes for our mind.

Habits such as sitting in front of the television for hours every day are very harmful on our brain. It may be relaxing but it will slowly turn your brain into mush.

If you are experiencing a lot of confusion lately and are having a hard time thinking straight, chances are you are suffering from a mushy brain. Luckily, there are exercises that you can do that will help to strengthen your mind again!

Personal development material such as audio recordings have been found to be very effective when it comes to strengthening the mind and getting it out of a mushy state.

Binaural beats are a form of these audio recordings. The binaural beats are used as an alternative to the more traditional form of meditation. Some people have a hard time focusing deep enough to do traditional meditation, binaural beats would be a perfect solution for these people.

Another convenient thing about binaural beats is the fact that you do not need a knowledge on meditation to do it. The only thing you really need is a smart phone or an mp3 player and a set of headphones. All you have to do is listen to the recordings and all the rest of the work is done for you.

One important thing that you should be aware of when it comes to binaural beats is the fact that you should never listen to them while driving or any other task that requires complete attention as this can be dangerous. The reason for this is binaural beats will put you in the same state as traditional meditation.

Always be sure to use stereo headphones while you listen to binaural beats. Failure to do this will result in less of an effect. The reason for this is the fact that binaural beats send slightly different frequencies to each ear. Your brain will actually combine the two frequencies and create one of its own. This is where the mind gets its exercise from using this method of strengthening the brain.

There are also other exercise you can do to help strengthen your brain and some of them can actually be quite fun. Once you begin strengthening your brain you will notice many positive effects taking place. The following are some examples of the benefits that can be received from making your brain stronger.

Reduced amounts of stress: You will notice that your stress levels will begin to drop very quickly and you will once again be able to truly relax.

Boost positive chemical levels in your brain: You will begin to feel much happier once you begin to strengthen your brain. This is due to the fact that a strong brain produces much higher levels of positive chemicals than a mushy brain does.

Higher levels of confidence: Your confidence levels will begin to soar into the sky. You will have the courage to try new things and to do things you thought you would never be able to do.

Prevent the cognitive ability of the brain from declining: As we get older it is especially important that we exercise and strengthen our minds. Doing so will make sure that the cognitive ability of the mind does not decline. This helps to prevent issues such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

Lower anxiety levels: The amount of anxiety that can be alleviated from your life by simply exercising your brain is absolutely amazing! This is especially beneficial for those who suffer from issues such as anxiety disorder or PTSD.

Increase the power of your memory: Getting rid of your mushy brain will increase the power of your money. This can make many things in life less complicated. For example, if someone constantly misplaces their keys, the probably need to improve their memory.

Your creative side will come out: As human beings, we are all born with a creative side to our mind. However, if our mind is not strong, our creative side will have a hard time showing itself. One of the greatest things in life is the fact that we have imaginations and can be creative.

You will have the power to help others: Once you have a strong mind, you will have the ability to inspire and help others. The person you helped will then be able to help another. This cycle will continue and before long it will lead to many people healing their minds.

There are many more benefits that can be gained from strengthening our minds. Once you begin strengthening your mushy mind, you will be blessed with all of these benefits.

Training your brain is not that difficult, you just have to have the right intention and the set of tools to do it with.

Quick Tip

So often when we want to incorporate something new to help us strenghten our mind – or our spiritual connection, or even our body or relationships, the big struggle we face is NOT desire.

So if the struggle isn’t the desire, what is it? It is trying to change over night – we want to lose 50 pounds by tomorrow, we want a million dollars by the end of the month, we want our relationship to have new found intimacy NOW.

So, here’s the key that will help you with this…

Start small…

Give yourself the next small step – maybe it is to listen to brain entertainment audios 2 times this week. (Instead of trying to start with every day.)

You get the idea – build it into your life in a way that allows you to have access with it. Start small and grow from there – there is magic in doing this!
