Ready AND Willing?

I need to ask you an important question…

And this question could shed some light on the gap between where you are and where you want to be…

Here’s the deal…

I know you are ready for your life to be different…

I know you are ready

  • to have more money
  • to lose more weight
  • to find the love of your life
  • to experience great success
  • to fully and completely express yourself creatively

and anything else that you may be looking for…

Now here’s the question that is so important to your success here…

I know you are ready, but are you WILLING to be different?

Because here’s the key…

To have a different life, YOU need to be different…

There isn’t another way…

What you have in your life won’t change unless you change

  • How you make decisions
  • How you handle success
  • How you handle failure and mistakes
  • How you handle your time
  • How you set up boundries
  • How you value yourself
  • What you consistently focus on
  • How you translate the things that happen in your life

and on and on and on…

If you are waiting for your life to change from the outside…

You are going to be waiting forever…

So…I’ll ask you again…

Are you WILLING to be different?

Leave me a comment and let me know…

I appreciate you and know you can have everything you desire!

Go Big!

Kristen

The very best question and blog.

This is so important and I wonder how many people think of asking themselves this question.

I am ready and in the process, but I know that I need this question in my process.

    Thank you.

I know we must be different to get different. But I myself have developed my boundaries. I find myself unable to break the boundaries. I know it is easy but still my boundaries are with me everytime.

Wow, thanks so much for your blog post. I had never really thought of it like that. Am I willing to change? It really does give a whole new perspective to success and if I really want it. Am I willing to change? Yes I am and now that I know change comes from within it will make the transition all the more easier.

    Hi Kristen,
I know that I need to change my behaviour and I’m taking steps, possibly small ones, to get around this, but my journey has begun. I am receiving help from many sources, you included, and my path to financial freedom, happiness and, most importantly, making my sons proud of me is already being travelled along.
It will take me time – just as it did you. Maybe I might need more time than some, but I’m going to enjoy the journey.
As I reset my goals, I may never reach the end of the journey, but I intend to have a lot of fun along the way and if our paths are ever likely to cross, it would be great to meet you so that I will be able to thank you in person.
    Going bigger!
    Kevin

    Dear Kristen,
I am at the stage of my life when I am doubling up my stocktaking. You see I am way past middle age and am in fact, at 65, a senior citizen. I feel that I have left for me the grandest times in my life now that I don’t have to worry about what other people think of me but am in fact ready to make a full self-assessment.
I have gotten most of what I want, foremost of which is to have correct thinking, one that is both positive and realistic. I am aware that with my age, many things are beyond me. But I am fully cognizant of the fact that with my wealth of work experience, skills, know-how, knowledge, information, capacities, abilities, creativity, imagination, and so forth, only the best is yet to come for me.
I have learned to live in the here and the now. I have learned to accept myself for what I am. Before I was afraid of satisfaction, thinking that this would make me be demotivated.
Now, I have discovered that satisfaction promotes confidence which is a vital touchstone to success.
I should be happy with myself. I entered so many fields or areas of interests and romped away with expertise in as many fields. I had always wanted to be able to talk with clarity and knowledgeability in many things and I find that given my work experience I really can.
My favorite quote is from Norman Vincent Peale himself who in a reply to my letter said, “You are a person who achieves victory after victory.”
I had my ups and downs. Each time I reached rock bottom, I had nowhere to go but up. I got to be what I most wanted to be: a writer, painter, and social psychologist. As a writer I wear many hats: I am a freelance writer, a business writer, a copywriter, a public relations writer, a poet, essayist, novelist, and a short story writer.
I am ready to Go Big. Just receiving your emails to me has helped me focus on my desire to Go Big which you instigated. I hope that in a year or two, I really will Go Big in the direction that is positive and life-changing (for the better). Thank you for your emails. Simply reading them make me feel that indeed I can Go Big.
    Truly yours,
    Migen L. Osorio

It’s my pleasure recieving valued emails from you.Actually, I feel shy already for spending your time with me. I’m so grateful for your effort in sending me some information on how to improve and change my life. Thank you so much Kristen. All your emails serves as an inspiration to me and I found out I got strong hope for my future. But I have to be patient to wait when it comes.
I want to be true to you, sometimes I feel disapointed of myself.I questioned myself, How can I change my life to my dream life? Kristen, to be honest to you, I’m only a housekeeper working here in Taiwan, with my kind of job, what are the possibilities to increase my income? You know, I just wait for the free ebook emailed to me. I don’t have any credit card to purchase online products.

Thank you so much for your support, it has been so great. You remind me that I am the creator of my life and if it is not working for me then it is time to do something different to manifest what I am ready to receive. Yes, I am ready to be different.

  • By Jake, June 9, 2010 @ 7:41 am

The will is there (I’ve done it before), so I know there is a way…just having trouble making the changes stick. I may be trying to change too much at one time; looking for that quick fix, so to speak.

  • By Mark, June 9, 2010 @ 8:16 am

    Kristen,
Change is the ultimate goal. I myself am looking for change. I have for the past 2 years while trying to my businesses going. I have also accepted the fact that I couldn’t control the roadblocks that came with this. Because it has taken so long I now have to tie up the loose ends to start generating income to pay what I have created. Although it is not an easy task I am determined to move forward and if it doesn’t workout stand true and go down with my ship.
    Mark

I’ve been working to make my life different. I’ve lost weight so I can be healthier. I’ve read and considered other changes. Some I’ve made and other’s I’m in the process of making. Still others have been rejected as something that doesn’t feel right for me or something I really don’t want to do. Insanity is still doing the same thing and expecting different results so I work to change. Right now I’m working on ways to make my depression better. That’s a slow process because I can’t aford the meds that would maybe help. Remember what you made at your lowest point? I’m there now but without the credit cards. I’m working on ways to make more money now. I will find a way and I will make my life what I want it to be.

  • By Sophia, June 9, 2010 @ 9:33 am

Absolutely – YES, I AM WILLING! Just what I needed to hear today because I recognize through your Q that a shift has occurred.

In the last two days I have become SO CONSUMED WITH MY SOUL’S PURPOSE that it is a challenge to focus on anything else. And the key for me is balancing it out – the daily activities that support my Purpose alongside the Reason for doing any of them.

“Willingness” did not show up overnight – and I still grapple with Her frequently. However, I see my progress – small as I think it is at the time – and later I realize it all adds up to something Greater Momentum. However my mind may not trust, my Spirit keeps going. It is the act of getting back up. It is the act of riding the waves. NO MATTER WHAT. WHATEVER IT TAKES.

I know I want to be ALL THAT I AM – THE BIGGEST VERSION OF MYSELF THAT IS IN MY POWER TO CREATE. I WILL HAVE THAT. I AM BECOMING THAT.

Thank you so much, Kristen, for your caring words each day – I feel you near. I have downloaded your Free Report and it is one of my action steps to complete it in order to get that much closer to my Dream of THE BIG LIFE! The road may be long and, at times, arduous, however I will walk it. I hope to be a model for others, to inspire others and to lead them into THE BIG LIFE, also.

    Ofcourse!!

  • By JoAnna Boccard, June 9, 2010 @ 1:38 pm

    Hi Kristen,

Believe it or not, but by starting this morning I began to change my life. I began to make my life different and it is now different.

I, up to this point, really did not like my job or my boss. This morning I did decide to be different. I decided to like my job and my boss and do whatever was necessary to make my job a good place for me. Almost immediately working was pleasant, my boss bought me a coffee and I took a break with her so that she could have a cigarette. I told her I would pay her back for the coffee and she said no, take a dance class with the money. She is also giving me a few more hours.

Thank you for sending this to me this morning.

You see, eventually I will be changing my career, but my intuition told me this morning, for me to quit this job and be happy as a writer I must love and be happy doing what I am doing at this job. Then I will be able to change my life.

    Awesome! Thank you.

Hi Kristen, first of all i want to thanks you from my heart for the valuable and posetive insights u had shared me, frankly speaking i want to be different, the problem is the place where i live is does not permit me to have what i need, u know i strongly bleive that my destiny is entirely bound with the country destiny,my root is burried in Ethiopia where it is difficult to have what you want and to be what you wish, any way i donot give up, i would be an overcomer, sorry for my poor lanquage, alemayehu

  • By Bernard Couzens, June 10, 2010 @ 12:50 am

    Hi Kristen
In my life I have found
I do not want to come across as too enthusiastic about this BUT if you want change then change (if you keep doing the same as you have always done, you will keep getting the same results). Just start by taking one positive action forward moving step, one step at a time to completion (there is no magic wand). So yes! I clearly agree with you Kristen.

    Hi Kristen,
Just wanted to say that your information has been very valuable to me. And yes, change is the key! Like Albert Einstein said, ” We cant solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them!” I am feeling great, truly in the right direction and very grateful for it. Thanks once again for your inspirational words and concepts!
