My passion as a child was to be a fashion/costume designer. When my sister took me to movies we stayed and watched the list of credits because I knew that some day my name would be listed in place of Edith Head under Costume Designer. I knew this, believed it without a doubt until I told my parents that I was going to a fashion design college. I was forced to change my mind by my parents. I quit dreaming and even thinking about designing clothes and made a choice to work at a job, then married and had children. I know I can write, as told by editors and people who have read my blog. But this was never my dream. I can write a little, but have no passion to keep it up or finish what I start. Instead I think of designing clothes. I have no training only thoughts and dreams. I don't think I can draw and don't even own a sewing machine. My predicament is that I really don't know what to do. I don't know what I will be successful doing (Money). I was just on vacation a couple weeks ago and it was so evident all around me people talking about themselves or their family members sisters, moms, adult kids etc who were living paycheck to paycheck. If I could learn a technique and perfect it then teach others how to earn an income part time while keeping their full time jobs until they become as successful as they want is my perfect dream. It would make me feel so good knowing I was truly helping someone make that $250 a week just to put food on the table or shoot even higher and make that $50,000 a month if that is what they want. I want them to be able to set the bar to thier own personal success. I just need the program to teach it. How can I find this niche? Phyllis Kristen
