Nobody Makes it Out Alive…

I was out to dinner with a friend last night and in the middle of a conversation about life and living life to the fullest, she jokingly said something that was quite brilliant…

She said, “We all might as well go for EVERYTHING we want, because when it comes down to life, nobody makes it out alive!”

Once I stopped laughing, it hit me how true that was…

We all get so stressed about everthing under the sun…

  • We worry…
  • We obsess…
  • We doubt…
  • We settle…

There’s so much at stake…

What if we fail?

What if we don’t make enough money?

What if people laugh at us?

What if we look stupid?

What if, what if, what if?

Here’s the deal…

It doesn’t matter if what you want is to attract money fast, live your passion, travel the world, fall madly in love or all of the above and more…

It’s true…

Nobody makes it out alive…

Now it’s your choice if that is a depressing thought or a freeing one…

Fill your life with life and it will be worth it!

Make bold choices, be the person you wish you were, believe what you need to believe to be everything that you know in your heart you are.

Know that with stuggle comes triumph and triumph can also come without struggle…

Yup, I said it…it doesn’t always have to be hard!

What makes you happy?

Do more of it…

What makes you feel fulfilled?

Do more of that…

What is your gift or gifts?

Do everything you can to spend most of your time expressing them (incidentally, that’s when money will follow)…

You can be, have and do everything you desire…

And, since nobody makes it out alive, what do you have to lose?

Leave me a comment, let me hold you accountable, share your vision and goals…

I know that everything you see in your mind is possible!

Go Big!

  1. Hey there Kristen,
Your friend makes a very good point. Sorta like my grandma always told me; “You work and work to stay ahead and have a life of comfort, but those who stow up riches, no not why for in reality we all will someday die and you cant take your riches with you, for our riches are already stowed away for us in Heaven. 🙂 Hopefully, the fact it is a Christian based statement does not offend anyone, if it does, my apolgies. But its what she always said.

  2. When you ask most people what is the opposite of death, they will say respond with “life.” In fact, the opposite of death is birth, and both are a part of life. And life is such a small part of Who We really Are.

      Great comment! Thanks for that…

Who we are is so much, you are right! And the part of who we are that is life, I hope to help people fill that part with as much ‘living’ as possible!

Great story, and so very true. I think the hardest of living life and experiencing life is that almost everyone has to trade their life for their job, obligations, debt and all of life’s little stresses. I know when I was young I had many things that I enjoyed doing, yet as the years went on and my time became less and less of my own, I forgot what it was that made me happy; what it was that I enjoyed doing. When you break down the average persons day you find that after you take out the time getting ready for work, going to work, working, and driving home from work much of your life is already gone. Then you have dinner to fix, PTA meetings, insurance to shop around for, banking and bills to pay…..the list goes on and on. Personally when all was said and done, I usually had less than 1 hour in the day to use to enjoy my life. I’m working on changing that now. Thanks for your emails and blog, they are my first baby steps towards getting what I want.

Great blog point, and so true. As for me, I want to earn the most money in a very short time so I can stop worrying about the future. Listening to The Secret of Deliberate Creation on CD again, I was reminded to change FDW by thinking a better feeling thought. You have provided one.

    Thank you,
    Rosemary

      Hi Rosemary!

It makes my day when I hear from someone that I helped them move toward what they want…

Thanks for letting me know I helped provide you with a better feeling thought!

Well, that’s one way to look at life. It does make it easier to let go of the small stuff… it even makes most of the big stuff seem inconsequential. The truth is that our lives can get so caught up in the trivial that we forget those things that are important to us. Thanks for a great post.

    Peace,
    Bob

You know I’ve heard what you have said many times before – do what you love and the money will follow…well I did that, tried for a long time, couldn’t make a living at it so ended up with an office job. Sure if you’re single and don’t have a lot of debt go ahead and follow your dream – but I’d like to know how you do that when you are supporting a family and have a heavy debt load.
