Superstition and luck…

Happy Friday the 13th!

I know this is a day where many people  get superstitious and expect bad things to happen…

I  like to look at things differently so on Friday the 13th I actually expect some surprise GOOD things to happen…

You ready to join me on that?

Right this second decide that today is your lucky day…

Think about when you were a kid and it was your birthday or the first day of vacation etc….

Remember what it was like to wake up EXCITED about the day…

You didn’t know what was going to happen, but the day had a feeling of promise and excitement to it…

That’s what I want you to do today!

If you are about to spout 8 million good reasons why you CAN’T do that like:

I’m bogged down in debt

I don’t have enough time

I don’t have enough money

I’m too stressed

My relationship sucks

I just lost my job

etc. etc. etc.

DON’T!

What?  How can I be so cold and insensitive to suggest that you just ignore all the bad in your life and expect something good to happen?

I’m not being cold and insensitive…

In fact, this is coming out of love…

JUST ONE DAY…

That’s all I ask…

1 day where you choose to get excited and feel like luck is on your side and the day is full of possibility…

1 day!

If you hate it you can go back to exactly what you usually do tomorrow…

But today is LUCKY Friday the 13th!!

I can’t promise you that your life will change today…

But I can promise you that if you do this today, you are planting the seed of infinite possibility and positive expectation…

Look for the small positive clues that surround you right now (I guarantee they are there if you look for them and stop looking for proof of how bad and desperate things are for you.)

Your mindset today determines your reality tomorrow (I know in reality there is only NOW, but you know what I’m saying.)

So…

Are you game?

Will you look at today with excitement and expectation?  You don’t have to know what you are excited about…in fact, that’s the point, you are surrounded by opportunity at ALL TIMES…so just get excited about that and about opportunity and fun and excitement being revealed to you.

How do I let go?

Here’s the question I get over and over and over again…

“How do I let go?”

I’m not gonna lie…

That’s the hardest part about the Law of Attraction.

I mean c’mon, I have you jumping through hoops deciding what you really want, visualizing it in GREAT detail, using all of your senses…

By the time you are done with the exercises I put you through you are probably so excited about the life you have decided to create that you can almost taste it…

And then I tell you to ‘Let go’!

What am I crazy?

I know it seems almost impossible…

BUT I need you to do it…

• When I say ‘Let go’ I don’t mean for you to let go of the vision (In fact I want you revisiting that daily for a few minutes)…
• When I say ‘Let go’ I don’t mean for you to let go of the passion and excitement…
• When I say ‘Let go’ I mean ‘Let go of HOW it is going to come to you!’

STOP trying to figure it out (seems nearly impossible doesn’t it?)

So let me be more specific…

Let go of the How!

Focus on the ultimate vision every day…

Use all your senses…

Get excited…

and then LET GO of HOW it’s going to happen!

Yes it’s hard…

BUT I guarantee you that YOU will only LIMIT yourself if you impose what you think can happen and bring you what you want.

Get out of the way…

Decide that what you desire or even something better is on it’s way (actually it’s already here, but that’s for another time) and then let it go…

Stop thinking about it…

Once you do your daily focus…STOP THINKING ABOUT IT!

How many times have you wanted something…

• Money
• Relationship
• Job
• ANYTHING

And you’ve obsessed on it…wondered how you were going to do it and then finally gave up…

And then almost immediately after that it shows up? And in a way you never expected?

Can You Really Make Money from Your Purpose?

You’ve made it through a bunch of exercises designed to help you find your purpose AND now it’s time to discover how you can attract money with your purpose.

If you haven’t done the exercises yet, follow the links below to do them before you continue with this post. I can’t stress enough that reading isn’t enough.

The Law of Attraction Key is to take Inspired Action.

You can attract all the money, success and happiness you desire even in this failing economy, but in order to attract what you want, you MUST take inspired action.

Answer the ‘Find Your Purpose’ Questions

Do the ‘Purpose Brainstorm’

Okay, now you’ve gone through the exercises and it’s time to discover which of the, ways to attract money with your purpose, get you most excited…

Look at your ‘Purpose Brainstorm’ List and, quickly and without thinking too hard (I want you to go off your instinct on this) rate them in order of excitement. 1 is MOST exciting and then go on from there to least exciting.

A word of caution here…

I guarantee you the word IMPOSSIBLE is about to pop into your head.

I’m not asking you to rate these in terms of what seems MOST POSSIBLE…I want you to rate them in terms of what is MOST EXCITING.

I don’t care if you think it’s possible or not…

IN FACT, often the thing on the list that is most exciting to you will also seem the most impossible. GOOD!

What? How can that be good?

We can get you to attract what seems to be impossible IF and ONLY IF it excites you enough!

Ok…

Next step in attracting money by living your purpose is to look at the top 3 things on your list. For each one of the top 3 things, I want you to write down EXACTLY what excites you about this.

To do this, you will have to PRETEND it seems possible. So these are the questions you need to ask yourself for each of the top 3 things on your list.

1. If this was possible, what are all of the things that excite me about it?
2. If this was possible, what are the things that don’t excite me about it?
3. What kind of person would I have to be for this to be possible? What or who would I need to know? What would I need to believe? Etc.

Do that for ALL 3 of the top 3 on your ‘Money from your Purpose’ List…

And then, just like last time, don’t judge it…don’t decide if it is or isn’t possible, put it away in a drawer until our next post.

If you don’t know what you want, The Law of Attraction doesn’t work

If you had asked me what I wanted a few years ago, I would have fumbled around for an answer and come up with that I wanted more money and more success and to feel excited about my life. But if you had asked me to get specific, I would have been flustered.

Why?

For me, it was a couple of things…

1. I knew there was MUCH MORE for me, but I couldn’t quite put a finger on what it was.
2. I was terrified to try to define it, because I didn’t want to attract the wrong thing.

I was never one of those people that thought the Law of Attraction doesn’t work. In fact, I always had complete faith that it works and that is what froze me at times, because I didn’t want to put the power of the law of attraction into manifesting something that I didn’t really want or worse, thought I wanted because I was feeling fearful and desperate.

And because I didn’t get specific, I attracted a whole bunch of things that fit my general requests, but they were never quite right.

For example…in 2 weeks time, I went from making less than $1000/month (in New York City…YIKES) to making OVER $5000/month. BUT…once the excitement wore off, I realized I was making money doing something that I didn’t want to do.

I adjusted, got specific and started attracting what I DID want and this taught me that you can always adjust your focus and change what you are attracting.

The moral of the story is that it is better to get specific and use the power of the Law of Attraction to attract what you are focusing on and then, if you need to, redefine your focus as you discover more of what you want…than it is to float around generally attracting things that are ‘kind of’ what you want.

Here’s the key…

It doesn’t matter why you are having trouble getting specific…

What matters is that you have a tool to help you GET SPECIFIC!

Here’s an exercise to do just that:

Grab 2 pieces of paper and a timer.

Put the timer on for 5 minutes.

In single sentences, write down everything that YOU DO NOT WANT.

Write it all down…all the things that drive you crazy about your life…everything you DON’T want to define you…EVERYTHING…

DO IT NOW…and then come back.

Welcome back…

OK…now look at the list of awfulness and take each sentence and on another piece of paper write down the opposite.

For instance, if you wrote, “I don’t want to be poor” then you would write on the other piece of paper “I want to be rich”.

NOW this is the Law of Attraction Key we talked about last time…YOU MUST write down specifics of what being rich is to you.

Don’t skip this part of the exercise. I know it might seem like a lot…but ask yourself if you’re ready to start using the Law of Attraction to work for you…and if the answer is ‘Yes’ then take the time to do this and get specific…trust me…it’s worth it.
