Your life won’t change unless…

Here’s what I’ve realized…

Your life won’t change unless you change it!

Now, of course I mean this in the way that you assume — you know I am a firm believer in the fact that YOU are responsible and capable of changing your life…

BUT, I also mean it in an unexpected way…

Here’s what I realized one day and I was shocked…

Your life won’t change unless you change it — and sometimes all (or some) of the things have happened that you thought would change your life and yet you find yourself living the same life as before…

Let me give you an example –

A while back I had a plan — I was working my tail off to make several businesses take off and to justify working so hard, I focused on how my life would change when I hit the next level and started consistently making 5 figures a month…the goal isn’t what matters here, for me it wasn’t about money, it was about what I would do with the money…and we all have that something that “When it happens we will live like this…” — You know what I’m talking about…

I had plans of monthly massages and fun adventures and many more things…

The details don’t matter — what does matter is that I KNEW that when I hit that financial point I would finally be able to chill out and stop working my tail off…

Guess what happened…

6 months after I had consistently been at that financial goal I had a huge realization as I was running to grab some food so I could cram it in my mouth before I ran back to my computer to work until 10 pm…

And the realization was that I had reached those goals I had and yet, my life hadn’t changed because I hadn’t changed it…

I was still living like I was before…

And it was up to me…

I had to make myself do the things that I had put in front of myself to make my goals exciting or else it didn’t matter how much money I was making, my life was the same…

YIKES!

So when I say that your life won’t change unless YOU change it, I mean that in 2 different ways…

1. YOU have to do what is needed to change your life

2. Then YOU need to do what is needed to make sure your life ACTUALLY changes

Don’t wait until you have a million dollars or whatever it is the BIG goal is…this really isn’t about money…

Start changing NOW!

All Work and No Play…

We all know the saying, “All work and no play makes Jack and dull boy.”

I want to change that to be, “All work and no play makes you a big, stressed mess.”

Seriously…

We all get so caught up in everything we have to achieve, be, do and have that we forget to unwind.

If you drove your car non stop without fueling it and washing it and getting it serviced and letting it sit for a few hours, what would happen?

It would break down!

Now let me ask you this…

If you drive yourself non stop without getting the right food, taking care of yourself physically and feeding yourself emotionally, spiritually and HAVING FUN, what will happen?

YOU WILL BREAK DOWN!

I promise you this…

No matter how much money you need to make or how many things you need to do or how amazing you want your life to be…

YOU HAVE TO STOP AND HAVE FUN!

• Play…
• Laugh…
• Do something just because…
• Stop thinking…
• Stop pushing…
• Stop driving…
• Play again…
• Laugh some more…
• Do something else just because…

You have to or you will break down!

Now, keep in mind that if you leave your car in the garage and don’t drive it the wheels will go flat and the car won’t run, so it’s all about balance…

But I promise you your capacity for money and love and greatness will expand if you allow yourself to play and have fun and LAUGH!
