I was talking with my best friend about a mutual friend of ours that is finally branching out with his own consulting business after years of running a consulting business for someone else…

As we were talking about this, my best friend said, “Do you think he’s ready?”

I thought about it for a second and this is what I said…

“I don’t think he’ll be ready until he’s doing it…”

We both laughed because it’s so true…

Think about it…

When are you ready? And I mean REALLY ready?

I’ll tell you when…

When you are doing it…

Don’t get me wrong…

You can (and must) prepare…

You can practice and get all of your ducks in a row (whatever that means)…

But you will finally be ready in the exact moment that you are doing it!

Here’s an example…

An athlete can train, hit practice hard and work all of their drills…

But when are they ready for the game?

During the game!

Here’s the deal…

So many people get stuck in the ‘Getting Ready’ phase and they never move onto the ready phase…

Be honest with me here…

What is it you are ‘getting ready for’ and have been ‘getting ready for’ for longer than a month?

Here are most of the things I hear that people are getting ready to be ready for…

• Losing weight
• Getting into shape
• Starting their own business
• Finding their passion
• Starting to design the life of their dreams
• Getting in the game
• Connecting with their kids
• Connecting with their spouse

and the list goes on and on and on…

So what is it for you?

It’s time to get in the game and START going big…

Enough getting ready!

“How do I let go?”

I’m not gonna lie…

That’s the hardest part about the Law of Attraction.

I mean c’mon, I have you jumping through hoops deciding what you really want, visualizing it in GREAT detail, using all of your senses…

By the time you are done with the exercises I put you through you are probably so excited about the life you have decided to create that you can almost taste it…

And then I tell you to ‘Let go’!

What am I crazy?

I know it seems almost impossible…

BUT I need you to do it…

• When I say ‘Let go’ I don’t mean for you to let go of the vision (In fact I want you revisiting that daily for a few minutes)…
• When I say ‘Let go’ I don’t mean for you to let go of the passion and excitement…
• When I say ‘Let go’ I mean ‘Let go of HOW it is going to come to you!’

STOP trying to figure it out (seems nearly impossible doesn’t it?)

So let me be more specific…

Let go of the How!

Focus on the ultimate vision every day…

Use all your senses…

Get excited…

and then LET GO of HOW it’s going to happen!

Yes it’s hard…

BUT I guarantee you that YOU will only LIMIT yourself if you impose what you think can happen and bring you what you want.

Get out of the way…

Decide that what you desire or even something better is on it’s way (actually it’s already here, but that’s for another time) and then let it go…

Stop thinking about it…

Once you do your daily focus…STOP THINKING ABOUT IT!

How many times have you wanted something…

• Money
• Relationship
• Job
• ANYTHING

And you’ve obsessed on it…wondered how you were going to do it and then finally gave up…

And then almost immediately after that it shows up? And in a way you never expected?

Take the last couple of weeks of August to decide what you REALLY want!

• Do you want more money?
• Do you want to lose weight and get in the best shape of your life?
• Do you want to attract a wonderful, supportiv and passionate relationship?
• Do you want to grow your business?
• Do you want to start making money from your passion?

First ask yourself what it is you want?

Then ask yourself why you want it?

Then use the last 4 months to START NOW!

Imagine if you start now instead of waiting until Jan 1…

Imagine if you take the pressure off the New Year and start moving toward the life you want to design now?

Imagine if you are just that little bit ahead of the game…

1. What do you want?
2. Why do you want it?
3. What can you do RIGHT NOW to move 1step (just 1) toward what you want?

Imagine if you took 1 step a day, every day between today and Dec 31st, toward your goals…

• How much farther would you be?
• How different would your life be?
• How different would you be?

Just 1 step a day…

These last 4 count…let’s do it!

I can hear you now, “WAIT Kristen, what are you saying…we need to have lack and sorrow and darkness?”

NO!

That isn’t what I’m saying at all…

BUT there is power in the Law of Opposites and once you learn how to harness this power you will magnetize everything you want and a much faster rate.

This is how you harness the Law of Opposites…

When you find yourself focusing on what you don’t want (which, if you are like most people happens more often than not)…

GET EXCITED!

WHAT…am I crazy??

Listen to me here…

If you know exactly what it is that you don’t want…

Get excited because that means you also know EXACTLY what it is that you DO WANT!

Now to fully harness the Law of Opposites, this is the key…

And this works for everything…

• Attracting money fast
• Finding your life purpose
• Making money from your passion
• Taking inspired action
• Living a joyous, abundant life

EVERYTHING!

Here’s how you harness the law…

When you catch yourself obsessing on what you don’t want here are the 6 steps you take:

1. Get excited

2. Tell yourself, “I am focussing on what I don’t want and if I didn’t know what I don’t want, I wouldn’t be able to recognize what I do want!”

3. IMMEDIATELY take a few minutes to focus on, picture, write down etc. EXACTLY what it is that you DO WANT. Get into it and especially tap into how having what you do want makes you feel.

4. Ask yourself ‘What one SMALL step can I take right now that will absolutely move me toward what I do want?’ (SMALL STEP!!)

5. TAKE THE STEP IMMEDIATELY!

6. Let it go and go on with your day.

Don’t be scared of what you don’t want…instead use it as a tool to get crystal clear on what you do want and start taking inspired action toward it.

This is important!! Go for it!

“Are you crazy?” The man crys, “Now we’re both stuck down here.”

His best friend responds, “Yeah, but I’ve been down here before and I know the way out.”

I want you to know something…

If you are in a proverbial hole right now, it doesn’t matter if you are trying to attract money fast, find your purpose, make money from your passion or live a fulfilling and balanced life…

I am jumping in with you, because I’ve been there and I know the way out.

Once I stopped laughing, it hit me how true that was…

We all get so stressed about everthing under the sun…

• We worry…
• We obsess…
• We doubt…
• We settle…

There’s so much at stake…

What if we fail?

What if we don’t make enough money?

What if people laugh at us?

What if we look stupid?

What if, what if, what if?

Here’s the deal…

It doesn’t matter if what you want is to attract money fast, live your passion, travel the world, fall madly in love or all of the above and more…

It’s true…

Nobody makes it out alive…

Now it’s your choice if that is a depressing thought or a freeing one…

Fill your life with life and it will be worth it!

Make bold choices, be the person you wish you were, believe what you need to believe to be everything that you know in your heart you are.

Know that with stuggle comes triumph and triumph can also come without struggle…

Yup, I said it…it doesn’t always have to be hard!

What makes you happy?

Do more of it…

What makes you feel fulfilled?

Do more of that…

What is your gift or gifts?

Do everything you can to spend most of your time expressing them (incidentally, that’s when money will follow)…

You can be, have and do everything you desire…

And, since nobody makes it out alive, what do you have to lose?

Anyway…

The 2 hour finale was on Sunday night and at one point, Benedict (one of the expeditioners) said something that made me run to my notepad so I would remember to write a blog post about it.

Before I tell you what he said, let me give you a little background on what these 4 people had already endured in the quest for their goal…

They spent 30 days and covered almost 1000 miles, most of it on foot.  They crossed the dessert in 120+ degree weather, endure malaria and successfully warded off Hyenas, Snakes, Hippos, Crocodiles and Lions.  They conquered lack of water, lack of communication and lack of food and about 100 other obstacles that could have stopped them from achieving their goal of finishing this historic expedition…

And yet…

Not finishing was never an option…

They had a singular focus for 30 days and it was absolutely inspiring what they were able to achieve.

Okay…now let’s get back to it…

In the last episode, they were 3/4 of the way to their goal.  They could taste success and see the proverbial finish line and THAT is when Benedict said something to the effect of this…

“This is when we have to be the most careful, on expeditions like this, the last 25% is when everything can go wrong because it gets easy to look at the finish line and lose focus on what is happening in the present.  When you lose that focus and settle into feeling like you have already succesfully finished before you have, that is when 1 thing can go wrong and take away the 75% you have achieved.”

WOW!

Seriously…that is so powerful!

Remember that as you go after your goals…

You have to STAY FOCUSED for 100% of the journey!

This is true whether you are:

• Trying to attract money fast
• Trying to find your purpose
• Trying to make money from your purpose and passion
• Following inspired action
• Trying to lose weight
• Trying to improve your relationships

etc. etc. etc.

When you start to feel like you are almost there and that you have successfully endured everything that was thrown at you for the bulk of your journey to a goal…

REFOCUS and remind yourself to stay present!

I’ve been coaching people for years to find their passion and turn it into a business. I have coached people just starting out and I have helped current business owners maximize their businesses to multi million dollar businesses and there was one thing that all of my clients had in common…

They were Entrepreneurs by choice.

But now things are different…

People who never thought about starting their own business are suddenly forced to think about it. People are getting laid off or living under the impending doom of being laid off or at the least having their pay significantly cut and it is turning people into Entrepreneurs not out of choice but out of necessity.

There is a tidal wave of people who feel that they have to attract money fast AND they can NO LONGER rely on their job to do it.

• I see the opportunity for many to actually discover something they love and turn it into a business…
• I see the potential freedom for all of these people…

BUT I know there are lessons they will need to learn and because many of you are now entrepreneurs by necessity, I want to help you shorten the learning curve as much as possible.

• I know you feel like you need to attract money fast…
• I know you feel like you lack the luxury of time to discover what it is you really want to do…
• I know you are seriously pushing your comfort zone…

Whether you are an entrepreneur by choice or necessity, I know you are going through all of this because I went through it too and I can help you avoid some of the mistakes I made and shorten your journey where mine was long and painful.

I have received more emails than I can count from my subscribers telling me about this opportunity and that opportunity and that they don’t know what to do and which direction to go and how not to make mistakes. I know if you have someone guiding you openly and honestly you are more likely to start to succeed quickly!

So let me give you 3 tips right now:

1. I know you feel rushed, but you MUST take a few minutes to decide what areas of focus actually excite you. I promise you that when you start as an entrepreneur, if you start in an area you love, your chances for success increase by almost 80%.

2. Do your due diligence! There are 8 million people out there saying they have the opportunity that will make you a millionaire or financially free or an extra 10k per month. Some of them are legit and many are not. Do your due diligence. Find out everything you can about them and their success rate. Ask people you respect if they know anything about them. ALWAYS talk to someone at the company first before you dive in. How you are handled now is a great indicator of how you will be handled if you use their system or product or coaching.

3. Stick with 1 thing! I talk about this a lot in my coaching…I call it the ‘Something Shiny’ Epidemic. This is where you are so excited about an idea that you are sure is going to make you the money you need fast that you jump in, BUT the second another opportunity comes to you, you are lured to it because it seems like it might get you money faster. Trust me…I lived like this for a while and all this did was put me in debt. It wasn’t until I took a second to only look at opportunities that excited me THEN did my due diligence and THEN chose 1 and STUCK WITH IT that my life turned around. Learn from my mistakes on this one!
