3 Questions to Help You Make Money from Your Passion

I am so excited for you!

From the emails I am getting, it looks like so many of you are on the path to discovering your purpose and what you are really passionate about AND then turning it into a money maker for you…

Good News: I have also been listening to your feedback and am developing a program to guide a few of you, step by step through the process of discovering your passion and making money from it.

Don’t worry, I’ll let you know as things progress, but I have a favor to ask of you before then:

I want to know what specific challenges you are having with this process and the specific things you need help with. Shoot me an email at kristen@lawofattractionkey.com or post a comment here. That way I can see what you are REALLY needing help with so I can make this program the best that it can be!

Okay…let’s get on with this…

You have gone through the exercises to help you find your purpose (right?) and now you have a list of 3 idea ways for you to make money from your purpose

So now what?

To make money from your passion, you need to ask yourself three Essential Questions.

Grab that pen and paper again…and let’s go!

3 ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS FOR MAKING MONEY FROM YOUR PASSION:

1. What problem do people have that I can solve?

2. Why and how can I help them solve their problem? What is it that I’m bringing to the table that will make their life so much better?

3. Are the people with this problem ready to spend money for a solution?

Before I get a whole bunch of emails about how you shouldn’t want to capitalize on other people’s problems to make money…let me say these 2 things:

1. I NEVER want to encourage you to take advantage of someone else in order to make money.

2. I DO know that if you can help someone solve a problem they are having then you ABSOLUTELY deserve to be compensated for that.

AND I will tell you, that if you have a solution for something and you give it away for free, most often people won’t value it and they won’t take action and use what you are giving them to change their situation.

Right now I want you to look at any problem that you can solve as EXTREMELY VALUABLE!

Think about it, when you have a big challenge or problem, isn’t it worth money for you to pay someone if you know they can help you solve it?

Of course!

I actually just hinted at something that is very important when you are deciding what problem you are going to help people solve…and we’ll get into that next time.

If you can guess what it is and send your answer to me in an email to kristen@lawofattractionkey.com and I’ll give you a free 15 minute assessment coaching session with me.

If you are REALLY READY to start making money from your passion, make sure you answer these 3 questions now.

Go Big!

How do I Attract Money by Finding My Purpose?

I’m assuming you’ve gone through the other posts about finding your purpose.

At this point, you have:

  • Created your ‘Purpose List’
  • Discovered where in your life you can spend more time on the things on your ‘Purpose List’
  • Taken Inspired Action to actively spend 10 minutes a day on something on your ‘Purpose List’

If you aren’t this far along, go back to the other ‘Find Your Purpose’ posts and do the exercises etc. and then come back here.

So what do you do now?

Creating a ‘Purpose List’ and actually finding a way to live your purpose and attract money by living your purpose are very different things.

I need you to use your imagination now AND I need you to promise NOT to judge yourself or the answers you come up with in the exercise I am about to give you. I guarantee you, it won’t be easy because I am going to ask you to ignore what you accept as reality and brainstorm…

Are you ready?

The sooner you do this, and the more fully you do it (even if it seems ridiculous) the closer you are to living your purpose AND attracting money by living your purpose…

Does that sound good or great?

By the way, before we get into this exercise, a word on practicality and what’s possible…

What’s possible is only limited by what you believe is possible…

If Walt Disney, Oprah Winfrey, Richard Branson and Bill Gates all bought into what most people believe to be possible, do you think they would have achieved the things that they have? Of course not…

Keep that in mind and be brave enough to think big…

Trust me, we’ll absolutely throw out some of the ideas you come up with, but you have to let your brain and imagination run wild to discover your real purpose.

Let’s go…

  1. Pull out a pen and paper
  2. Set a timer for 5 minutes
  3. Brainstorm as many things that you can think of that you could do that combine the top 2 or 3 things on your ‘Purpose List’.
  4. Put the piece of paper with everything you just wrote away and don’t reread it, edit it or even look at it again until I tell you to in the next post. (There’s a reason for this, you’re just gonna have to trust me.)

Tips:

    • Don’t think if it’s possible for you to make money doing it.
    • Don’t skip it if it isn’t something that already exists.
    • Write it all down, every crazy; out there, “How the heck would I ever do that” thought that pops into your brain.

The first step to making money from your purpose is brainstorming, then we can go from there to hone in on your perfect Purpose Driven, do what you love and the money will follow, idea! More on that next time…for now do this step and then put your paper away until next time…

Go Big!

Now what? How to find your purpose – The Key to a fulfilling life – The Next Step

Did you answer the questions I gave you on how to find your purpose and the key to a fulfilling life, yesterday?

If you didn’t, GO DO IT NOW!

I am excited to work with you on how to find your purpose which is the key to a fulfilling life, but for me to help you, you have to DO MORE THAN READ THIS, and you must take INSPIRED ACTION!

Let’s jump in…

Yesterday you answered a bunch of questions I gave you and from that you should have come up with a few answers that seemed to keep showing up.

Those are the key you are looking for!

Grab your pen and paper again and write those elements down, we’ll call this your ‘Purpose List’…

If you are like most people you probably have 1-5 things written down…

I want you to rate those from most exciting to least exciting…

Let’s look at the woman I told you about yesterday who went through my ‘Find Your Purpose’ coaching…

When she answered all the questions I gave her, she discovered 3 things that kept reoccurring as times when she felt her best and in the zone. The 3 things were:

1. Animals

2. Being Outside

3. People

I had her to rate them from most exciting, (meaning when she felt most fulfilled) to least exciting.

The list then looked like this:

  1. Animals
  2. People
  3. Being Outside

Okay, go rate your purpose list now…

Did you do it?

Great!

Now, quickly write down the times in your current life when you are participating or experiencing any of the items on your purpose list.

On a scale of 1-10 (10 being most or all of your time) how much of your time is spent on your purpose list?

Chances are good you answered between 1-5, right?

That’s what we need to focus on now…

In order to find your purpose and live a fulfilling life, you must be spending the majority of your time on the things that bring you the most fulfillment! That’s the key to a fulfilling life, that’s living your purpose!

‘But how do I do it Kristen? Are you saying I should quit my job and move?’

NO…

It is too soon to make any rash decisions, let me show you how to find your purpose while you are living your current life…

Let me help you step into your purpose and fulfilling life one step at a time, one day at a time…sound fair?

Good…

Here’s the question for today that will help you take steps toward finding and living your purpose…

Ready for it?

Here you go…

Ask yourself this question every single day…

“What 1 thing can I do today so that I spend at least 10 minutes on one of the things on my purpose list?”

AND THEN DO IT!

I promise you, once you start taking steps to spend more time doing the things that bring you joy EVEN without changing anything else in your life, you will start to align with your purpose and the law of attraction will start to draw more opportunities that align with your purpose to you.

I’m here to help you take this from this first step ALL THE WAY THROUGH to completely finding your purpose and living a fulfilling life…we’ll get there but you have to take the first step! Take it now!

Tell me what you plan on doing by leaving it here in a comment, accountability is huge and if you write it here you are 90% more likely to do it!

How to find your purpose – The Key to a fulfilling Life

Let me ask you some important questions…

  • Are you struggling though life?
  • Have you heard the saying, “Do what you love and the money will follow” but for the life of you, you can’t figure out what ‘what you love’ is?
  • Do you feel that the key to a fulfilling life is to find your purpose, but you don’t even know where to start?
  • Do you feel that until you find your purpose you will be stuck in this pattern of struggle?
  • Do you wonder if you really have a purpose or if you are destined to a mediocre, purpose free life?

Did you answer YES to any of these questions?

If you did answer Yes to even one of these questions, you are in the right place…

Listen to me here…

It’s time for you…

It’s time for you to find your purpose and to have a fulfilling life

I can hear you now, “But HOW Kristen, how do I find my purpose?”

Let’s start with a few simple steps…but first I have to ask you to allow yourself to answer whatever comes to mind and not judge what you come up with as possible or not possible.

No judgment; we are just digging in for discovery purposes…

Are you in?

Great, let’s go…

Grab a pen and paper (or you can go to your computer, but pen and paper tends to bring out more honest, instinctual responses) and answer these 10 questions…

Remember, don’t think, just write…

  1. Write down your top 3 favorite things to do when you were a kid.
  2. Write down your top 3 LEAST favorite things to do when you were a kid.
  3. Write down your top 3 favorite things to do now.
  4. Write down your top 3 LEAST favorite things to do now.
  5. When you feel ‘In the zone’ at work, home or anywhere, what are you doing?
  6. How do you make your money? What is your job?
  7. How many hours a week do you spend at your job?
  8. Is there anything about your job that you like and feel you are really good at?
  9. What are the things about your job that you hate?
  10. When do you feel most comfortable in your own skin? What are you doing?

You need to know 2 things when it comes to how to find your purpose as the key to a fulfilling life.

1. Your purpose CANNOT be something you don’t feel ‘Right’ doing?

AND

2. You can have MORE THAN 1 purpose!

First we need to discover the common bonds between all of your answers.

In your answers to the questions above, there are most likely a few things that keep popping up in your answers…

What are they?

Write them down…

One of my clients was struggling to find her purpose so we went through this exercise and found that dealing with animals and being outside kept popping up in her answers. When we talked about animals and being outside, she got animated and excited and emotional…that’s the KEY…she was emotional, she felt something…you have to be emotional about your purpose!

Here’s the funny part about this client of mine, she didn’t have any pets AND she worked in an office on a computer without any windows, very little interaction and certainly NO exposure to animals.

No wonder she felt like she was off purpose…she was!

She and I went through a whole process to find her purpose and I am happy to say she has found her purpose and is living a fulfilling life. It took time, time that you and I will take too…

The first step to how to find your purpose is to discover the answers to the questions I have put in this post…

Leave me a comment with any common things that keep popping out at you…that way I can help…it is important to see what you do love AND what you absolutely don’t love…write it all down, share it with me here and I’ll make sure I reply to your comments.

Once you do this exercise, we can move on to the next step of discovery for what you can do with that purpose.

Remember, to find your purpose is the key to a fulfilling life, take these steps now, answer the questions, let me know what you find by leaving it here in a comment and we will take this journey together!

Go big!
